THE BIGGER PICTURE
Kana-Biyik becomes United’s second youth signing of the summer, joining Paraguayan playmaker Diego Leon. While Leon has integrated into first-team training, Kana-Biyik will gain vital experience abroad. The move underscores INEOS' expanding footprint on world football, with Lausanne-Sport also falling under the British conglomerate's portfolio.
DID YOU KNOW?
Kana-Biyik netted nine goals in 18 outings for Le Havre’s U-19 side last season. Though named on the bench for senior fixtures for the Ligue 1 side, he was unable to make his professional debut. The teenager has represented France at U18 level and comes from a footballing lineage with his father and brother both having represented Cameroon internationally.
