ToggleGoalkeeper: Khairul Fahmi
Now with Melaka, it was with Kelantan that Khairul Fahmi really made his name. Six times he picked up the best goalkeeper of the year award during that period with The Red Warriors that also included two Super Leagues, FA Cups and Malaysia Cups respectively. His smaller than usual frame for a goalkeeper only served to showcase the incredible performance he has put in even more.

Left back: La'Vere Corbin-Ong
In a list where consistency at the highest level of performance is demanded, La'Vere Corbin-Ong is the outlier in the XI. Only two seasons with champions Johor Darul Ta'zim but in the absence of more creditable candidates, the performances put in those 24 months has enabled him to be in the list. Never seemed to have an off day, Corbin is the quite quintessential minimum 7 out of 10 player.

Centre back: Aidil Zafuan
The centre back with the number '7' on the back of his jersey. The decade has seen Aidil Zafuan evolved from the tough tackling libero style to the now composed sweeper. When younger, Aidil would fancy himself pushing forward trying long range shots but is more concentrated on defensive duties these days. Had many a challenge from younger compatriots but is still the undisputed number 1 for club and country.

Centre back: Shukor Adan
When the decade started in 2010, Shukor Adan was already 30 and many would think that his career is winding down but 10 years later, everyone was made to change their stance. A midfieder in the earlier part of his career, Shukor made the seamless transition to a centre back and with the four teams that he played for this decade, has more than proven himself to be a leader and vital player.
